Ann Edie and Panda - Guide horse for the Blind Ann Edie has donated more than $1,000 in support of the Guide Horse Foundation and visited the Guide Horse Foundation for several days to learn about our training experiment and to visit with Dan Shaw and Cuddles, a working Guide Horse team. Ann Edie was quoted in an article by the New York Capital News that Panda was proving to be better than any of her guide dogs. Ann Edie also says that she was so happy with her guide horse that she retuned her guide dog and prefers to use Panda as her guide animal. As a member of NAGDU, Ann Edie said that she was appalled with the malicious and defamatory statements published by her group and she attempted to exercise her right to speak-out on the issue:
