Horse Training Seminars and Clinics for college and university courses

Janet Burleson, acknowledged as one of the world's pioneering horse trainers, provides a variety of free horse training classes, seminars and clinics for college courses and university clubs. Whenever feasible, a working Guide Horse team can attend these free seminars, share their experiences and demonstrate a Guide Horse in-action.

These seminars are popular with undergraduate psychology and sociology classes and topical content can be customized according to the desires of the professor. We can also provide a seminar for attorney associations and law school classes discussing the rights and responsibilities of guide animal users.

We receive thousands of appearance requests each year and it is impossible to accommodate every request for a horse training seminar. If your schedule is flexible, we can place your organization on a wait list and perform your Guide Horse seminar when we are in your area.
